Want awesome things to do in NYC without opening your wallet? Library cardholders can take advantage of Culture Pass, which provides free admission to dozens of sites in all five boroughs, including museums and art galleries.
The Culture Pass initiative, which launched in July 2018, allows New Yorkers to reserve a pass and get free access to cultural experiences at organizations including the American Museum of Natural History, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Children's Museum of Manhattan, The Shed, Center for Jewish History and Whitney Museum of American Art.
Passes for the next month will become available on the first of each month, so on October 1, passes for November will be released, and so on. Please note that passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. (For more Culture Pass FAQs, click here.)
How Do I Reserve a Pass? Library cardholders can log onto culturepass.nyc and use their library card number and pin to browse for passes by date or venue.
