These sweet treats are a hit with football fans of all ages, and they're super easy to make.

Football Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package fudge brownie mix ( 9”x13” pan size)
  • 1 - Football shaped cookie cutter
  • 1 - Bag of white icing or melted white chocolate
  • 1 - Toothpick to clean up lines
  • 1 Cup Confectioners Sugar
  • ¼ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-3 Tablespoons of Water

Directions

  1. Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions. Cool on a wire rack. Then, pop the tray into the fridge for a few hours.
  2. Make the icing. In a bowl, whisk together the confectioners sugar and vanilla. Add in 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you reach the right consistency. (You want to make sure you don’t make this too runny, so you want to add in the water a little at a time whisking in between. If it becomes too runny, add more confectioners sugar, if it is too thick add more water a tiny bit at a time.)
  3. With football-shaped cookie cutter, cut brownies into football shapes. (Set aside leftover pieces for snacking.)
  4. Place icing into a piping bag or mini condiment bottle and cut a very small hole near tip to dispense the icing.
  5. Pipe laces on brownies. Then return the tray to the refrigerator to harden, about 5 minutes more.
