Charcuterie boards traditionally include cheese, meat, and fruits that can be shared with guests, but with all the great Valentine's Day sweets out right now, it's incredibly easy to use the same aesthetic to create a sweet candy board instead.
Whether it's for Valentine's Day or a movie night with family, candy charcuterie boards will basically become the centerpiece of any get-together. The best part is that you can use any combination of candy, cookies, and chocolate you like. Just be sure to use a variety of textures and flavors.
For creating a standout candy board, here are a few tips.

Choose a Neutral-Colored Platter
Aiming for lots of colorful candy additions to your board? Keep the surface of your platter as simple and neutral as possible. You want the candy to pop.
Use a Colorful Candy Selection
With Valentine’s Day as the theme, use lots of red, pink, and white candy with a variety of textures like:
- M & M’s

Fill It Up
With any platter, fill it as much as you possibly can—then pile on even more. Alternate textures and colors when you lay out your sweets, and use smaller dishes and containers to divide treats and add more visual interest. Don't forget to back in with smaller filler candies/sprinkles to fill in any unexpected spaces.
Move and shift and rearrange, but don’t overthink it. Have fun and enjoy your sweet charcuterie candy board.
