Between StuyTown's 80 acres of green space and NYC's many parks, your pup has options galore to explore. Find your dog's new favorite place in the East Village and surrounding neighborhoods.

  1. Stuyvesant Square Dog Run The Stuyvesant Square Dog Run is conveniently located one block away from StuyTown on 2nd Ave. Dogs are allowed off leash inside the fenced-in dog run, which is shaded by lush trees and has plenty of seating for dog parents. This park is open to you and your pup from 9am-9pm.
  2. Tompkins Square Dog Run  Tompkins Square Dog Run touts itself as NYC’s first and largest dog run. Located within beautiful Tompkins Square Park, the dog run has been run (ha!) by community volunteers and donations since 1990. Some of its many features include a state-of-the-art running surface, underground drainage, a large and small dog run, 3 swimming pools, as well as bath areas & hoses.
  3. Union Square Dog Run The dog run at Union Square is a fenced-in, shaded spot within Union Square, complete with a gravel surface and park benches for spectators. Let your dog off leash in this popular park conveniently located near plenty of shopping and coffee spots, great for a stop before or after errands.
