Rosemary's Expands to the East Side of Manhattan
Restaurateur Carlos Suarez and the Casa Nela team opened a second Rosemary's restaurant in NYC at Stuytown and Peter Cooper Village.
The beloved Italian restaurant, whose first location sits in the West Village, has the same seasonal dishes, house-made pastas and notable wines to the new East Village location on 20th street and First Avenue.
The Rosemary's East menu focuses on pasta and pizza, all below $20, said New York restaurant pro Alex Gaudelet. Choices combine original Rosemary’s favorites and sourdough pizza from spinoff Village pizza spot Roey’s.
The restaurant includes an extensive wine bar, sidewalk cafe, and indoor dining rooms of which the largest seats 110. In addition to regular dining, Rosemary's East has private rooms perfect for parties, dinners, business meetings, presentations and more. (Click here to download the event kit.)
The interior design is light and airy and inspired by the Italian countryside, as well as the Tuscan home of Suarez’s mother, Rosemary, from whom the restaurant takes its name.
"I wanted to create a place that would be welcoming to a diverse audience from students and young adults to families, their kids, and seniors alike. I wanted to look out into the dining room and see multiple generations of people from all walks of life, coming together to connect," Suarez said.
